I've used this product for 10 years with my Labrador Retriever. She has been on it since she was a pup. She grew two inches taller than her siblings after about a year, and, has been perfectly healthy all of her life. She is show quality (although she is just my beloved pet). Her coat is shiny; her muscle tone and heart are that of a two-year-old; and, her eyes sparkle. Everyone comments on how beautiful and athletic she is even at age.
I just acquired an Akita Inu puppy, and, started him on this stuff right away, with fresh meat, and, salmon (also fresh goat milk I get from a goat farmer). Each day, he gets a minimum of 1 quart of fresh goat milk, 8 ounces of salmon Roland Pink Salmon, 7.5-Ounce can (Pack of 6), a pound of "Soujorner" and a half of pound of natural beef mixed with "Call of the Wild."
Soujorner is a dry dog food that you mix with hot water, and, fresh meat (about 8 ounces of natural beef for the puppy). Sojos Original Dog Food Mix, 40 lb It is designed as a healthy fresh meat supplement. (The concept originated in Europe). I also mix in about 30% of Soujorner dried vegetables. Sojos Europa Grain Free Dry Dog Food Mix. The Soujorner acts as a filler, and, as quick carbohydrate for energy (it is mostly rolled oats and there are many subsitutes in the market).
Akita Inus (Japanese bred Akitas) are actually an extinct species of wolf. My Akita Inu puppy is growing (with my approval) to about 35% larger size than his Father (who was raised with Puppy Chow and regular dog stuff). I attribute the increase in the realization of his genetic potential to the fresh foods the puppy is receiving, and, at least in part, "Call of the Wild."
What the "Call of the Wild" does is populate the animal's intestinal tract with the pro-biotics (flora) and enzymes necessary for the animal (especially an Akita) to extract all of the nutrients from the fresh food (such as the goat milk, salmon and beef). This concept is known as "bio-availability".
The increased bio-availability for the animal allows it to constantly, over time, extract the nutrients from food, that it needs, to reach its maximum genetic potential. Without a supplement like Call of the Wild, an animal can have the best diet in the world, and, not be getting the nutrients it needs because it can't extract the nutrients without the enzymes and micro-organisms necessary to break it down in its digestive tract. Call of the Wild provides those enzymes and micro-organisms.
Call of the Wild is the best supplement I could find of its kind. It is designed to be mixed with hydrated dry dog food, fresh meat or fish, and, that should take care of any taste problems for both cats and dogs.
Try this stuff. In the long term, you will have an amazing animal as your friend and companion.
