(More customer reviews)I bought this for my cat who can get mats and hates being brushed. He will bite you if you try to brush him. I used the muzzle so I can get a scissors and cut mats off. The muzzle usually works long enought to get one off (about 5 minutes) after that he usually figures out how to get the velcro loose. If you have a short term use like I describe it will be fine. You can get longer use of the muzzle for grooming if you have an assistant to talk to and gently restrain the cat. With help it stays on 10 minutes. I try not to pursue grooming any longer than that anyway it stresses the cat out.
