(More customer reviews)I am using this on my reef tank for my lighting. As mentioned previously there are 2 day receptacles and 2 night receptacles. The timer alternates between the two ( one on ,one off). There are also 4 continuous power receptacles.I did not find the timer hard to program. There is a small replaceable battery in the back of the unit used for keeping the timer accurate if power is lost.
My only complain as with most power strips is that they allow only enough space between the receptacles for a common
plug and not a/c converters.
As to the one review about the timer not working. I had mine fail after about 3 weeks. However I simply called the
customer service number given on the instructions. They acknowledged that occasionally a unit has these problems and they sent me a whole new unit free of charge. No complaints here. The warranty is 12 months.
