(More customer reviews)We bought this for our mainly outdoor kitty. She has a large wooden box, complete with a pillow and thermal pad. It is in a protected area. We put the heat lamp on a timer and attached it to the box. The red light helps keep her warm, but doesn't keep her awake--seems to love it!
