(More customer reviews)My red eared sliders LOVE this food! We've started calling them "pac-turtles" because they float around snatching these tiny balls from the surface just like pac-man zooming around swallowing his.
They compete with each other to get the most - if they both see a piece, they definitely race to get to it first. They love the taste, they have a lot of fun eating it, it's very easy for them to eat (they don't have to work to break it), and it isn't very messy.
About 1 in 10 pieces will sink rather than float, but it isn't that big of a problem, as they're so very tiny it doesn't make much of a mess. It is the ONLY food I will give them snacks of when they're in the tank. For everything else, I use a separate feeding bowl to make dumping the mess easier.
