(More customer reviews)This item works well with my aquarium, I have a 20 gallon saltwater aquarium. I just set up my aquarium about 6 weeks ago and the temperature has been 2-4 degrees too high. When I placed the aquarium cooling fan on the back it reduced the temperature 2-3 degrees. This fan works as a cheaper alternative to a chiller which can cost $200-$400 unless a dramatic decrease in temperature is needed. The only complaint is after a week of daily use when turning it on in the morning it tends to make a loud buzzing sound. If you tap the back of the unit with your hand once or twice it will stop.
