They're supposed to be chewable, which makes them conveniently crushable and easily hidden in tuna or hot dogs or what have you. Besides being more affordable via Amazon, the pills have also eased our 11-year-old dog's hip joint paint. She's again sprinting around the house just shy of her race speed when we first adopted her.
