(More customer reviews)I purchased this kitty perch needing something for my dog to be able to sit and see out the window without having to stand on her hind legs barely able to peer out over the sill. The specific design lent itself to this conversion by allowing her to jump on the circular portion and then up into the cradle area and sit at window level. I suppose, had I purchased this item without having to alter it, I would not have discovered the poor workmanship so quickly. I had to separate the circular portion an additional three inches from the top perch to allow a safer decent for the dog. In altering the article, I was more aware of the poor trim and clean-up job that was done from the manufacturer. The chin-see feather on a "sink plug" chain hung in place by a staple which gave way with minimal effort. Although all surfaces are covered with carpet, there is no additional imagination offered. The circular portion was attached to the cradle uprights with eight staples each pole and provided very little actual stability.
Purchase of this item for conversion to a dog prop was ok but there sure was a significant level of poor quality control and workmanship pride displayed in the final outcome for which I paid $90.00 (shipping included).
