(More customer reviews)Well I don't know if they work for every box turtle but as soon as I put one in front of him my little guy was chowing down so I consider them a winner. Saves me having to go out to the backyard trying to dig some up.
The cans are very small, but when your box turtle only gets fed every second day and gets fed all sorts of things when you think about it the can will last a good while if kept in the fridge.
I also like that it came with a little spoon to scoop them out.
The cons:
Well for the size the cans are expensive but I found a discount website that sells them cheap. Just shop around and you'll find them if you look on google shopping.
Also they are very smelly but hey, they're dead caterpillars so I guess that was going to be part of the deal. Just make sure you keep them refrigerated and away from you own foods.. maybe in a back fridge or something so it doesn't stink up your main fridge.
