(More customer reviews)the waterfall itself is nice, but the pump is terrible. worked for maybe a day then didn't work anymore. keeping the pump where you want it to be is also extremely aggravating. the suction cups that are mounted on the bottom of the pump itself don't seem quite big enough to keep it stabilized in a proper position. I'm not bashing exo terra in any way, i think their products are great, but i haven't had much luck with anything water related and exo terra. look around the web for reviews before you buy this. there's a lot of complaints!

Sergeant's Gold Flea and Tick Squeeze-On Cat Review

(More customer reviews)I just finished reading info on the adverse reactions to this product. I bought it for my 8 cats last month during an early bought of unseasonbly hot weather when 3 young fleas showed up. So far so good. No adverse reactions from any of my cats (Thank God). I would prefer to use Advantage or Frontline which worked great (advantage) to slow down a flea infestation last year, but for the cost and using as a preventive measure, Sergeants is do-able.
For those in infestation mode: Before last year I had never seen a flea outside of pictures. My infestation began with a rescue I thought was 'clean' from bugs & had been treated. From that one cat, all of my cats were covered in fleas. When there are already existing fleas in full life cycle, you can't rely on drops of any kind alone....even Frontline or Advantage. The entire house must be vacuumed thoroughly & frequently and furniture and carpets sprayed with a good product to kill fleas from egg to adult. From the many things I read on flea issues, it can take up to 2 years to be flea free. Their eggs don't stick to fur. They can roll off anywhere so being thorough is a MUST. To keep chemicals to a minimum, learn what repels fleas (while not hurting your cat) and stick to it even after flea season. Flea comb pets frequently to check for flea dirt as a preventive measure. While everything is clear here (so far), I'm still paranoid about seeing even one flea & will be brewing my flea repellent to help keep things in check.

(More customer reviews)The kennel comes knocked down and takes but a couple of minutes to put together. It is sturdily built and well ventilated. The latching mechanism is soundly constructed and easy to use (if you have large hands- one hand will do- for smaller hands you may need to use both.)
It is true to size and considering Amazon's free shipping policy, I was not able to find a better deal.
If this style kennel is what you are looking for, then I would recommend it as a good product at a good price.

(More customer reviews)Killed off the fleas but... it makes my adult cat sick for several hours. She can't stand to be touched, pants excessively and drools a bit.
One month later after application there are new fleas in my home. This may be a transference from me going outside or from her. I can't really tell.
The product does kill and keep the fleas off my adult cat (age 5). I hear that side effects are normal with chemicals. I wish there was a way to not introduce chemicals into her systems and keep the fleas off her and out of the home.

Syringe Insulin 1/2cc 29ga x 1/2", U-40 (UltiCare) 100/Box Review

(More customer reviews)This is my second purchase for a batch of insulin syringes. It's very difficult to find U-40 syringes specifically made for the insulin prescribed to my dogs. The syringes are sturdy and well marked. Easy to fill and inject. I like that it's not individually wrapped, as it's a waste and more time consuming to remove than the little caps that the UltiCare syringes do. The only complaint I have is the gauge of the needle. I would prefer a slightly slimmer needle, as my dogs are 5 and 11 pounds, so they're pretty tiny. The price is certainly right. Oh, and the fact that it's very difficult, if not impossible to find in Canada. But even purchasing these from the States is cost effective for me. I go through 4 syringes a day and the costs add up. To purchase 30 syringes from my vet would cost me $30. 500 UltiCare syringes shipped from the US cost me approximately $120 including customs fees. I would recommend these syringes for anyone who has to use U-40 insulin, from Canada or the United States!!

Lupine Step In Dog Harness Review

(More customer reviews)I just took Molly (my dog) for her first walk with her new harness. What a difference this thing makes! We adopted Molly from our county humane society a little over a week ago. From the day we brought her home until just now, she would pull really hard on her collar when we would take her for a walk. She would pull so hard that she would wheeze and choke. I knew that I needed to get a harness for her to take the pressure off her neck. The chest can take the pressure, so this harness made more sense. I measured Molly around her body, just behind her front legs. She is 22 inches around, so I ordered the 20-30 inch harness. Once it was on Molly, I adjusted the straps, and the harness fits her beautifully. Now that I've adjusted the straps, I won't have to do that again.
Our lives are going to be much better from now on. Molly won't be choking anymore when she goes for a walk, and I'll have peace of mind, knowing that there's no way she can wriggle out of this harness. It's far safer than using just her collar. And it's extremely sturdy. All that and the fact that this harness is made in the U.S.A. makes this harness a must-have item for any dog owner, in my opinion. Whenever I can help to save an American job, I'll do it. I give this harness five stars. Molly gives this harness two paws up (her highest rating)!
Update: We've had the harness for more than a week now, and Molly is no longer pulling when we go for walks, like she used to with the leash and collar. Well, if she sees a squirrel or if the neighbor's chickens wander into our yard, she will pull then. But for normal walks, Molly is quite the little lady now. What a difference in her behavior! Walks with Molly are a pleasure for both of us now.
