(More customer reviews)We bought the medium size and large size Guardian Gear kennel. With two dogs, kids and lots of activities, it really helps to be able to fold the crate down flat and store it easily when not needed. Not having to take a heavy plastic kennel in and out of the car is a huge bonus. The crates have large windows and sturdy zippers and seams. Additional appreciated features included velcro pockets along the sides, carry case and fleece kennel pad. The only reason I did not give 5 stars was because the board the fleece fits over was very flimsy. On opening the crate for the first time, I saw that the fleece pad had slipped off the board. When I tried to slide it back on, the board cracked in several places. It seems to be made of something like veneer and was not durable at all. Also, as it was laying on the carpet, it cracked when my 6 year old child stepped on the edge. While this was very disappointing, it is will be easy to replace with cardboard, thin plywood or even lightweight plexiglass. The bottom line: I am pleased with the quality of every other part of the kennel and so would still recommend this product.
