(More customer reviews)I live in Florida where the fleas are numerous to say the very least. Have been getting this product from amazon for awhile and it seems to do the job pretty well. The price is great and the retailers in the area can't even come close to beating it.
Since we have the fleas all year (we don't get the freeze break like in the north), my dogs and cats are constantly picking up "fresh" ones in the yard every day. But they don't last long on the treated pets.
People that say this product doesn't work in the Florida area have to remember that the "newly" acquired fleas don't die "immediately" upon contact with the animal. It may take a couple of hours. All of the fleas I have found after brushing my dogs were dead-on-arrival.

Not 17" X 24". While 2" may not seem a lot, add them together and you come up 4" shy of available surface area. I also notice that the shipping weight on the box states 13 pounds not 20 pounds, this company charges a handling fee plus a per pound charge for shipping. So I got pads that were smaller then they were suppose to be and I was over charged on shipping. I will not be doing any further buisness with this company.

I also like that the effectiveness of each dose is up to 3 months for fleas, Advantix is only a month so this will go further if you're in an urban area without ticks. It is a little runnier than Advantix but once its under the fur, its only a problem for a few hours (we run around in the park for that time).

Our younger dog frequently had runny stools - the vet often put him on powerful anti-biotics for the diahrea. Since I started adding a tablespoon of this to all his meals, he can eat anything (including raw meat) with no loose stools, ever! (My dogs are currently eating primarily a fresh food diet that I prepare.) A vet suggested Wysong C-biotic for the pro-biotics, but I believe it also has digestive enzymes that our dog may have been missing. Our older dog had terrible allergies. She was on a variety of meds and even received regular allergy shots. Adding this to her meals made a significant difference. It didn't make sense to me, but her old vet (who is not very holistic) said it made perfect sense. The immune system is based in the gut, and it is the immune system that goes haywire and creates allergies. Getting the old dog's digestive track working better helped her immune system work more normally. (Not to say her allergies are gone, but it is as helpful as many of the other things we do for her.) The dogs love the taste of it too!

(More customer reviews)Of course, everyone always has suggestions on what you're doing wrong when you have a dog that just can't seem to stop pulling. I know how it feels, because I have one of those dogs. Regardless of consistant training (mine and hers,) this was the only thing that we just couldn't seem to conquer. Many suggested the "Gentle" Leader (among other things,) but after much training and size readjustments she was STILL managing to pull it off her muzzle and rub her little sniffer to a bloody mess.
Finally, I saw this harness and figured I might as well give it one last chance. I am SO glad I did!!! First time out, she had it. I was stunned. I knew she was a champion!!! : )
UPDATE...
I still think this a great product, but do have one warning. My dog went swimming while wearing her harness and afterwards, we continued on our walk. When we got home, the wet harness had rubbed her raw underneath her "armpits." We have never had this problem with the dry harness, but I would not recommend letting your dog wear it wet.

(More customer reviews)I ordered this life jacket just in case my dog should end up in the water when I take her to the family boat.
I liked the design of it -- it had two handles to grab and pull the dog out of the water, one just behind the neck going the same direction the collar would go, and the other going down the back. There were two D-rings you could attach a leash to (which I thought would be good, while I could certainly hook the leash to her collar, I figured if she were to go in I'd have one more thing attached to her vest to help get her out). There was also a part that goes under the dog's belly. So, I thought that was a pretty good design, and not too expensive either.
I soon noticed a problem. Within a few days, she gave a pull on the leash and one of the D-rings came off, as the stitching had come undone. I had the leash attached to the other D-ring for the rest of the weekend, but the stitching began to come undone on that one, too.
Once home, I asked my mom to restitch the part holding the D-rings into place, as well as take a look and maybe reinforce the stitching on the grab handles (if the stitching won't hold the D-rings under normal stress, I wondered how the stitching on the grab handles would hold if I had had to pull my 44lb dog out of the water with them).
Unfortunately, it was more complicated than that, and my mom noticed that the fabric on the belly part was just disintegrating. Just literally fraying away, to the point that couldn't be stitched, even if the parts holding the D-rings could. Basically, a few days of use had pretty much rendered the life jacket useless.
So, it is a good design, and maybe I just got one weak vest. But it is something I would keep in mind if you're looking for a life jacket for your dog.

StarMark Everlasting Fun Ball, Dog Toy Medium / Large Review

(More customer reviews)I've become a pretty big fan of Starmark products and since our dog doesn't have ENOUGH toys, I bought this one for him at the store on sale one day.
PROS:
You can put just about anything in it, especially regular kibble, and it holds much more than the Bento ball.
Much quieter than his Kibble Nibble (which he absolutely LOVES). He can play and eat his dinner and we can enjoy a quiet, busy dog and a movie.
It takes him much longer to get food out than his other treat dispensing toys (Bento ball, Kibble Nibble and Kong).
Not as expensive as the other Everlasting toys and is more versatile as I don't have to exclusively use Starmark's expensive treats.
You can still use Starkmark's Everlasting interlocking treats for more long lasting fun and appeal.
CONS:
More difficult than some other toys to fill with treats but still fairly easy. You have to squeeze it just right and slowly let the kibble fall in.
It is a bit of a challenge for him to get the treats to fall out. (He plays with his toys mostly with his feet rather than his mouth) This could be because of the size of his kibble. He has not become frustrated with it and quit playing with it altogether yet so this isn't too much of a con. He does stop after awhile but comes back to it later. The longer he is busy and the more worn out he gets playing, the better!
When given the option of all his toys in his basket, this is not the one that Dexter grabs. I have to put up is other toys to make him play with this one. He does seem to enjoy it but it's not his favorite by far. (That's why I gave it 4/5 stars)
I think this a good value for the money but if your dog has really large kibble and he prefers to roll his toys around rather then gnaw on them, this wouldn't be a good feeding toy but still fun for smaller treats. It's also very bouncy for regular fetching.
